He's about as on the fricking leash as it gets.

I'd like to see evidence that Asaad, who has survived many years of civil war (a GD feat in Syria) is dumb enough to do the ONE frickING THING that could bring in the US in force.

It's just unbelievable, and the lack of evidence showing otherwise is almost as unbelievable.

Every president gets an itch to bomb somebody once in a while. Bombing North Korea is problematic, so you're on deck, Syria.

Please look at a map, preferably one that shows territorial control over time.

Chemical weapons are also highly difficult to employ and unreliably lethal. Especially a potentialy windborn agent like Sarin.

We didn't get rid of them because they were too effective, or for human rights reasons. We got rid of them because they aren't particularly good weapons.

It should make people wonder how sarin shells fired in the open air street managed to take out 100 people a few months ago. It's almost like it wafted directly into every nursery in the town...

Its my guess, with the way Qatar was handled, that the Saudi Royal Family is now guiding our ME foreign policy. Trump has been compromised, most likely and isn't smart enough to know it. And btw, there is a reason Mattox is called Maddog.

I try not to opine in the threads I make, because I like the convo/debate to carry on as long as possible/rational.

But GD, your response here is too fkng true and funny.

Same. Assad is fighting ISIS. I am not sold on the White Helmets and other groups over there who want to overthrow Assad.

I'm not sure what's true over there and what isn't.

Yes. It has been clear for two years or more that the Globalists want at least a proxy-war with Russia via Syria.

Destabilizing Syria benefits no one, except maybe Israel and oil pipeline interests.

This is not a good move, and not what I voted for.

White Helmets

They're the proganda arm of an al Queda affiliate. The videos are staged.

They also received western training and funding. I'm not sure how we manage to square that. But we do, apparently.

You may also have seen the video where they kill a boy.

It's rather gruesome.

And they are the source of all the "Sarin Gas" attack footage, right?

It stinks to high heaven. They're all demonic pedophile worshippers. This is not our fight, and even if it was, they're impossible to sort.

So there may be an element of truth to that, at least from the Saudi perspective.

Did you see the sword dance video from Trump's visit? The arabs in the video are the help, not the royal family. And the ritual was one of abeyance. It was a sign, to the Arabs at least, that he "works for us."

They'll expect Trump to follow their orders.
