the most, at least to me
Watching this video is gut wrenching
This is what blue heroes have to deal with every day and this is why some are trigger happy.

What is a blue life? I liked The Smurfs when I was a kid.

While I appreciate that being a police officer is difficult, I've never quite understood the "Blue Lives Matter" mantra. Black Lives Matter exists under the belief that, when black individuals are killed, there is no recourse for the killer.
Whether one agrees with that sentiment or not, it's almost inarguable that crimes against the police are not treated in such a way. Not only do we have a criminal code that codifies a belief that police officers are more valuable/deserve more protection than the average person (killing a police officer is per se first degree murder, battery of a police officer has its own statute, etc, etc), but when someone violates those statutes, they are almost always prosecuted to the fullest.
When I hear people say that Blue Lives Matter, it sounds remarkably like they are saying Water is Wet.

It means they are better than everyone else because they have a badge.

if the color of the life matters, then you know what, it means either black lives matter or you are a fricking racist.

Watched the whole video. Pretty shocking stuff. Officer Smith is super lucky to be alive. Surprised about how long the ambulance took to get there.

You're overthinking this?

This site used to hate cops. But going around rioting over an armed felon resisting arrest and justifiably being shot makes us defend the cops. If BLM would choose their specific incidents to justify the cause a little more carefully more people would be receptive to the movement. Also doesn't help when their leaders don't denounce racist comments or actions by members.

Wow.
Let's try a little logic. In American mythology, the penalty for horse theft was hanging, but cattle rustling was seldom a capital crime. This isn't entirely accurate since it's a myth, but it is logical.
What's the difference between equine and bovine? A man's livelihood was often dependent upon his horse. Can't cowboy without a horse, can't farm without a horse, and can't transport without a horse. But the cow was a commodity. Delicious and worth money, but not as essential for life. More damage was inflicted by horse theft than cow theft. Therefore it was punished more severely.
Now hold tight, this is going to get bumpy. Who's death is more of a blow to society? A [insert color hear] young man's death (remember, BLM's assertion is that innocent boys and young men are being killed) or a policeman [insert, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, etc. here]. Both are equally tragic on the human level, but not from a societal one. Society depends upon that police officer to protect it from the murder, mayhem, and misappropriation of the criminal elements. A police officer risks life and livelihood more than any other legal profession other than a combat soldier. The more dangerous it becomes, the less likely that profession police will be willing to protect society from criminals and the more likely that the criminals will prey upon society!
Therefore, society, in the interest of self preservation, extends more protection to its protectors! This has been society's logical solution for thousands of years.
In a free country feel free to disagree, but just know that almost universally modern to ancient cultures disagree with you. I'm putting my money on the universal society solution. It's just logical.

You need to quit with all that logic bullshite. Not needed in a good Frick the POlice! debate.

No....what part of I've been shot in the neck are you failing to understand?
