edit the title to liters instead of litters. So no one thinks Bloomie is banning dogs or cats having litters, now.

You don't like cats with your pizza?

did some random guy one time go talk to you before class about finals?

Maybe. I mostly just took whatever classes Sally did and snagged her outlines. worked well.

re: Bloomberg: No more 2 liters with pizza
If he's so concerned about the health of his city, surely he will ban smoking cigarettes and alcohol?

So, in New York, you can go on an all night drinking binge, but you can't drink more than a 16oz soft drink, and you can't have a 2 liter with a pizza?

I would like to know what morons actually support this.

Conservatives will be happy about this. I mean, after all, they apply Bloomberg's same logic when it comes to their support for drug laws.

Wiki you know better than to continue to blame drug laws on conservatives. 2 years of liberal control in Congress and Presidency and they dont even bring the issue up. This can no longer be pinned just on conservatives.

re: Bloomberg: No more 2 liters with pizza
Haven't read the entire 12 page thread. I live in Manhattan. Bloomberg's schtick is getting old. Very old. He's the poster child for unintended consequences. Case and point last year he tried to ban "happy hour" drink promotions. So all the bars started cutting the price on alcohol and raised prices on food. That ended that pretty quickly.

Now I see TV commercials where he's got to be spending millions of my tax dollars on advertising telling me why it's a good thing that I can't buy a 2 liter bottle of diet coke in the city.

Of course, I can buy a 2 liter fountain soda at a Regal cinema who has donated to the bloomberg cause, but that's another area of corruption all together.

I think Bloomberg's politics will eventually hurt democrats across the nation. His politics are making many new yorkers reconsider their allegiances to the democratic party (yeah I know he's listed as an independent. Shove it up your nose he's a democrat).

When that happens, the populus will come to the realization that they've been lied to. That both major parties have violated the constitution. That the wealthy have never been doing better in relation to the 99% than they have under this current administration. When they realize that, the game is over and both parties and the media that assist both parties with their lies are over.

Take a look at Italy with Beppe Grillo. Think if things get worse that a Steven Colbert or John Stewart couldn't get a significant portion of the population?

re: Bloomberg: No more 2 liters with pizza

At a press conference Monday, Mr. Bloomberg was asked why pizza shops shouldn’t be in the same category as supermarkets, where customers can buy as many 2-liter drinks as they want.

“You have exactly the right question, but you’re asking it the wrong way,” the mayor responded. “Keep in mind we’re trying to save the lives of these kids — particularly kids. … The state should do exactly the same thing in stores.”

Family-friendly venues such as bowling alleys will also have to ditch soda pitchers for parties, and Manhattan nightclubs will no longer be able to serve large mixers with their expensive bottle services.

“If you’re going to drink more than 16 ounces of alcohol with something in it, you’re not going to get out of the bar,” Mr. Bloomberg said. “Or maybe you’re going to go out on a stretcher.

What the frick does this even mean?
