You should chart the ERA per series since the begining of SEC play and then comment. Pitching has been the difference these past few SEC series vs the first 5 SEC series. Has dropped over 3 runs per game. Has absolutely gotten better since the beginning of the year.

We lost two 1st round pitchers. And Shores hurt. How many top pitchers do you think can be on roster. We have just as much pitching as 2/3 of SEC.

Holman has regressed some. The rest of the staff I disagree.

I tend to agree, but Little’s astronomical improvement gives me pause.
The guy looked like a D3 pitcher last year, literally unplayable. Now he’s our first guy out of the pen.

Hurd’s performance (or lack thereof) has had a huge impact on this season. Whether that is on Yeskie or not is up for debate, but Hurd certain has never gotten over his “bad spell”.
