Yay! Another transfer at a position other than DT.

Not like LSU’s DBs set the world in fire last season. 2nd biggest need behind DT. More depth at DB but experience and talent is an issue

We need as much DB help as DT, maybe more.

Because he is always negative. It’s who he is as a person.

6th year sr who was at GT for 3 years went to Tennessee for 2 years.

Entered portal, committed to ole miss, then decommitted and committed to Louisville.

Left Louisville after spring

Yeah sounds like a great guy to pursue

70.6 pff grade last season though, would’ve been our highest graded db I’m sure

Had a 77.5 PFF grade in 2022 which was the highest graded returning safety in the SEC going into 2023. Hes a good player and a good tackler. Would be a good get and one of the better ones of this portal cycle. Want.

Do not bring facts into this. You strictly want to be an emotional drama queen like cbree

If we get him early we might be able to get 100lbs on him to play DT

People need to start getting blocked from posting on the recruiting board. It's a complete mess and civil discussions can almost never be had because so many man babies have infiltrated it since BK became coach.

He started in the SEC on a good defense. He’s exactly the kind of guy we should be pursuing

Think they are having collective issues. Several guys have transferred there and immediately have bounced.

Austin Ausberry didn’t solve LSU’s problem at safety?

I, for one, am shocked

True but there’s a direct correlation between the 2, the better the pressure on the QB the better the DBs look. Big problem last year was the time the QB had to throw due to lack of pressure heavily accented our inexperience at CB(Freshman). If our DL is suspect again it won’t look promising for the DBs. We’ve got to get pressure on the QB and it doesn’t look like it’s coming from the inside.
Baker will definitely have to strategize to come up with pressure from the DEs & LBs while also keeping the play action & run in check. This is why we hired him though. I’m sure we will have more talent in the future but it’s going to be all coaching this year especially from Bo & Corey. At least Peoples & Blake do have talent at the LB & Edge. It’s going to be an anxiety filled season on D, buckle up.

I don't care what schools he's been to before or how many times he's transferred. If he can be a solid player and a good teammate for one season, welcome aboard.

Kid was multi-year SEC starter. Precious few of those in this defensive backfield
