Ummm first off we were just talking about black females, and black male enrollment is pitiful. But among the ones who do go to college, that's for SURE what they do. I know plenty of black males who have children and are currently in school. I know others who worked to help pay househol dbills for their parent's home, and went to school. Do not try and pigeon hole us because you watch too much TV...

Many Asians are very intelligent. But that's like comparing some to Nigerians, who are also a very successful group, when you include immigrant populations of races.
Has more to do with work ethic and how you are raised than actual innate intelligence. And while many Asians are very intelligent, I went to school with a lot of Asians with zero people skills whatsoever. So it's a trade off sometimes. Being smart isn't everything, if you can't work with others. The converse is also true.

Also, I didn't go to an HBCU for undergrad or for my master's. Actually only two people in that entire list, other than my current medical classmates that I mentioned went to an HBCU... So what point were you trying to make in connection to my post?

They get stupid degrees and act like a masters in sociology makes them smarter than a white guy with an engineering undergrad

One day people will see that attending bare minimum colleges doesn’t make you “educated”. In many cases, you’ve just caught up with a decent standard high school education.

You can say all you want about "help" people to get in college. You can say all you want about the system, and I'm not about to explain to your simple mind the complexities of why minorities who often come from crappy school districts that don't even give them textbooks tend to perform lower on standardized exams. All I know is that when we get in, we often perform just as well or better than our peers DESPITE whatever scores we got on entrance exams. Most exam performance is based on the number of questions who are exposed to. People who can pay to get the right type of test prep tend to do well also.
Doesn't matter how much help you get to get in, you still have to succeed in order to graduate. Last I checked affirmative action didn't take tests and write papers for you too. They don't sit at the lab bench and run experiments for you, or help you identify arrhythmias.

There is very little "smarts" to sports.
Sports isn't Rocket Science.
I know this because I made the US Olympic Team, then fricking Carter banned us from Competing in 1980.
I also know this because I work on the Space Launch System for NASA.
