Well yeah, she is still more educated than the welder since she has more advanced degrees than he does. The welder is definitely more financially successful though.

So basically it's a statistic that means nothing, right? She has very little or no ability to earn despite the fact that she's 'educated about genders.

A diploma doesn't mean you've gotten an education. A lot of these graduates come out of college dumber than when they entered.

Being more educated just means that one has spent more time in some type of academia regardless if it was meaningless pyshobabble like gender studies. Sometimes it really means something if one earns a degree in engineering or an advanced degree in certain segments of a business school.
Spending a few years after HS extending ones time spent in an academic setting is not an indication of intelligence. The welder in this case could very well be far more intelligent despite not having extended his/her time in an academic setting beyond HS.

I think we have different definitions of educated, because I agree with you. I never said the welder wasn’t smarter or more financially stable, just that he has fewer degrees.
