Agreed. I repeatedly said in this thread that it's none of our business and we don't know nor should we know what the Cassidy family does and is doing right now. Some people took advantage of this and put their demagoguery on full display. Rob is a good dude and he means well but he looks like a despicable idiot in this thread.

Remember this conversation well the next time we are talking about abortion, or pre-teen pregnancy or single moms. People, all people make mistakes.
I have been a complete dick intentionally to illustrate some of the moronic attitudes here on this very forum. People love to slut shame, blame women for "spreading their legs" when they get pregnant etc. The party has been corrupted by the religious right who loves to sit in judgement of the rest of because the we don't happen to share their views of morality.
Is this kid a bad person. Nope. Did her parents fail. Nope. Yet I'm sure they look down upon the ghetto mom who is pregnant yet again.
Hopefully they have learned a lesson, painful, but a lesson none the less.

Don't tell me how to live my life when you can't manage to be an involved enough parent to recognize your kid is getting laid on a regular basis under your own roof. It's a simple lesson.

This thread has been about people laughing at people advocating abstinence and their pregnant teenage daughter and criticizing them for it. That's making a blanket statement with zero information.
The ghetto mom or other people that have kids unplanned out of wedlock; that deals with personal responsibility and it's all about the people having sex and the abundance of it and not being safe for it and getting pregnant way too often. Scruffy is right in what he said as well.

Bingo. The ghetto babies, most of them anyway, are afforded on the taxpayer's dime. Big difference. Good example below from an Arkansas paper this morning:

Mary's not going to touch this one with a ten foot pole. Her son had to get married last year after he knocked up his girlfriend. One word from her and that will come up.
