well this is definitely not true. trump reversed several regulatory eo's right away and the economy started taking off immediately. in terms of congressional law, i agree with you. the prez can't do much about that

a temporary aid package is not what you're describing here. and yes, conservatives would rather he not have done that so there is some agreement with your point

Why do you all keep going back and forth with someone who is intentionally being obtuse?

That’s his entire platform, will lead to a massive defeat. At some point you need tangible ideas, not just “orange man bad”

yeah, that list doesn't help your case. it looks pretty good for trump

quote:

the earliest stuff wasn't really doing anything until 2017
first, 2017 is still really early in his term. second, it's not just the specifics of any one particular eo. there clearly has been a cascade effect. deregulate one factor and that spreads out. then businesses are hiring, housing market goes up, consumer confidence is up, consumer spending is up, etc. not to mention repatriation. and there is a passive effect as well. businesses that were going to close locations decide to keep them open.

you seem to be looking at each regulation in a serial manner instead of more like a spider web

i tell you what. i'll stop tweeting when you stop saying stupid stuff and can read a teleprompter correctly and have a coherent, lucid performance at an in person, live debate. how about that?

So what exactly did he do day 1 and when did it take effect and what was the effect. I provided sources for my statement that he did stuff but that most of it wasnt effective till later in term or wouldn't show results till then based on effective dates and paybacks of removal.

It was going really well in 2016 as well. The economy was headed up before day 1 of him in office actually

yeah if you look at what all the obamas spent on vacations, you're not going to be happy.

trump, by all accounts, is a freak of nature workaholic. the man never stops, even when golfing or at mar a lago. oh and btw, take a look at how much obama was paid and how much trump is taking home as president

I'm more than happy to compare budgets for family vacations and security for trump family vs Obama family. It's not gonna be nice to trump and co

So balancing the budget and creating a surplus ruins the economy? You sure it was the fiscal irresponsibility of the bush administration? Especially since it was so deep in bushes term everything fell apart

Ooooh. Gotcha so I wonder why it didn't melt down during clinton's term if it was his fault? Could it it be because you don't really know economic effects of what a president did till after he's gone most times? Thanks for the support.

THIS.

If Slick Willie and that numbskull Cuomo hadn’t pushed the bullshite that home ownership was a right (backed by Big Bad Jan Reno’s Justice Department strongarming lenders), the housing bubble wouldn’t have happened.

W, as it turns out, was pretty useless. But he had enough sense to warn Congress about the coming shitstorm in 2005. They just weren’t listening.

let me know when the trumps, including 4 adult children, take family vacations to spain and africa. the africa trip alone was $100mil. who do you think works more on "vacation," trump or obama? also, trump isn't taking a salary.

Don't forget the world apology tour. That's a vacation in my books.
