Honestly think Trump is just trolling on that one.
His advisors have let him know that Carson is not confirmable and he has no business being a cabinet secretary anyway.

Tim Geithner, who didn't possess the ability to do his own taxes, was once Secretary of the Treasury. Carson will do fine if he takes the position.
