yes, i saw that too, it's a great step forward in battery technology. the problem remains though. Batteries dont create energy (electricity). We still have to generate the energy though oil/NG/coal or nuclear reactors.
Hopefully this will pan out and possible replace some of the small engines on things like leaf blowers, weed eaters, small cars and bikes.
What we need though, is a new energy source. likely not to be coming from solar, wind, or any other "renewable" energy source. We will likely need a new breakthrough in some area of nuclear physics or something like that to truly have an energy revolution.
