False.

But since you've returned again to that meme, please specifically cite the statement of mine you're addressing, so we can discuss it.

Not exactly. But they do indirectly through its tax avoidance d/t "not-for-profit" allowances.

It's not direct, I'll give you, but I think it is a bit stronger than that.

They make money off of collegiate athletics; that is supported by my tax dollars.

And since the public universities make up a LARGE source of NCAA revenue (TV deals), I think it isn't completely unreasonable for the tax paying public to weigh in on this decision.

But it is your feelings we are addressing. Not mine. I'm quite happy sticking with fact, as I have here.

My "feelings" are actually more along the lines of 'schadenfreude'.
In that regard, I'm not unhappy there have been financial consequences for those who unnecessarily brought this on.
Libs were led in their Charlotte effort by a convicted sex predator. They were morons. Now it is costing them.

The game again. I'm not playing, NC.

To label them as duplicitous is to speculate. Nothing you've brought to this conversation, therefore, matters.

You may address them, but a) I won't because feelings don't matter and b) you don't know what my feelings are.

Could being the operative term. So it's basically 313M / year. Still not peanuts. I wonder why they didn't say 7.52 over 24 years.

Putting something like this over such a long timeframe is ridiculous; lots can change - including the hypocritical stance companies make.

That is fully apparent.

Your feelings again.

Let's stick with facts.

I labeled them as either duplicitous or ignorant.
It is one, or it is the other. Just as is the case with you here.

No need for the emotions.

If you'd be willing to sideline the red-eyed butt-hurt for a moment, and instead simply address fact, you might learn something.

That isn't what it's called, but you calling it that is part of the game. You're playing with yourself.

You've brought nothing relevant to the discussion.

Let's bring this to your sophomoric level then.

NC says the NCAA lied,
and so ballscaster cried.

There. Better?

Certainly it is more suited to your discourse.

fricking this. I think both the law and the local ordinance that spawned it were stupid symbolic gestures. They were solutions in search of a problem. I would never have voted for it in the first place. That said, I would not vote to repeal because of the NCAA. Screw them. Governors need to get on the horn to their college presidents and tell them to BACK THE frick OFF.

I just don't get why the NCAA decided it was necessary to get involved in the first place. By taking this action, they are taking a political position. They are a collegiate sports association that is responsible for organizing athletics all across the country. They represent schools and students from all over the political spectrum. Why do they believe it was within their scope to be activists for this political cause?

I'd be saying the same thing if they protesting some conservative cause

The NCAA agrees, which is why they left NC, so they wouldn't have to get involved with compliance with HB2.

No shite. Yet no one has dared ask the NCAA where trannies go at their headquarters. Or the ACC. I'm sure since it's such a huge fricking issue for them that they have taken steps to accommodate the trannies at their offices.

I just worked two college basketball tournaments in NC in the last month, and I promise you no one at either event gave a flying rat fart in hell about the bathroom law.

It took almost two pages for fear porn to be posted—progress. Perverted thoughts you're having there, man.

What a jerk you are! Easy for you to call it fear porn. You're a man. I'm a small woman and I would fear random men the bathroom. More importantly, however, how could I let my 10 year old daughter go to the bathroom without me? If I'm at a restaurant with the baby in a highchair, and my 10yr old needs to potty, I would have to get the baby out the chair and leave our table to make sure a man didn't "get" my little girl in the bathroom! So women abd children lose their right to potty in peace because some man is confused about his sex? Absurd!
