Read the article again and again. This is a clear demonstration that our nation is filled with a bunch of "busy bodies."

I report incidents to the DOJ, the SPLC, ACLU and NAACP about people being held in jail unlawfully and they refuse to act. They only want BIG, HEADLINE cases.

frick all this bullshite.

Do you know what changes the bill enacts toward businesses, for example Target?

You don't, do you.

It's called the free market. If you want to take a public position, that's your right. But people are free to not use your services

The NCAA isn't a free market organization. The free market will in the long-term exert its influence over this issue (as the NFL discovered with its Kaepernick kneelers this year).

Wouldn't go there, but his knowledge of this topic appears limited.

Meh...if there are more people like me, all this nfl, nba political bullshite has turned me off for good. Sure, I'll watch the occasional great matchup, but I'm not a hard fan anymore and never will be again.

I imagine there are a few million + like me

You got a charter member of that club right here.

The NCAA didn't do anything to anyone, nor did they attempt to do anything to anyone. They simply took their business elsewhere where it fit their interests. That isn't aggression, snowflake.

I do, but it isn't relevant to what I said.

If you did, you'd be crystal clear as to relevance. Apparently you don't.

Not only did they take business from merchants, restaurants, and fans of all persuasions, they lied about it.
They stated, “N.C.A.A. championships and events must promote an inclusive atmosphere for all college athletes, coaches, administrators and fans. Current North Carolina state laws make it challenging to guarantee that host communities can help deliver on that commitment.”

That is an outright lie.

Irrelevant. You're playing a little game that I'm not playing.

Nah. You saying it's a lie is a lie, though.

You've got nothing. The NCAA didn't want to have their event in NC, so they didn't have their event in NC. It isn't any of your business why or whether their reasoning is ok with you.

Correct. It is a game called "Knowing What I'm Talking About".

You should try it. It's fun.

So a judge is going to force the NCAA to hold events in NC?

Nope...but at some point in the past or future, NC will be able to show the discrimination and how it has damaged them.....

bullshite.

This isn't a private business like Apple or a non-profit reliant on donations like the ACLU.

My tax dollars support it through public colleges (not to mention athletic ticket sales).

So yeah, it is very much my business what they do.

My statement has nothing whatsoever to do with the NCAA's reasoning.
It has to do with their duplicity in representing HB-2 . . . or perhaps their ignorance.

All of which brings this straight back to your posts.

Renaming the game is part of the game. I'm not into it.

Because you feign knowing things you don't about why the NCAA did what they did.

Not in this case, unless they are breaking a law.

I love when men act like the fact that they pay taxes makes them the boss of _______ (NCAA in this case).

Not exactly. But they do indirectly through its tax avoidance d/t "not-for-profit" allowances.
