I think in 2-3 generations. One big holdup is it SUCKS on TV....hard to sale shite without any breaks in what passes for action in soccer.
Football is doomed though. Youth football is way more expensive, it isn't for the most part co-ed and CTE, real or not, is scary for parents. Sharp decline in coming years in youth football will doom a great but brutal sport. Take away the interest in 2 generations of kids and it won't be as big as soccer
