If the GOP takes the Senate Obama will finish out his term doing the same thing he has done all along. Golfing.

His golf game better have improved over the last few years, at least we'd know something good came out of his stay in office.

I see Obama trying to pull end arounds on Congress by bringing back his "pen and a microphone" bullshite.

This doesn't work nearly as well when the opposition controls both houses and can defund your efforts, especially if your own party is scared shitless of 2016.

He could have picked someone else. He didn't. He chose him to stay on and be his Secretary of Defense.

Shut down is if no continuing resolution is passed.

They can game Obama by funding parts of the government grouped together and daring him to veto it.

Think he will veto good stamps or some other thing benefitting his party if it means killing something Republicans want? Depending on how it is constructed, a 2 3rds majority to override is possible.

Spleen is aptly named. What exactly is the impeachable offense. There was certainly more of a case for impeaching Ronald Reagan regarding the Iran Contra issue. People were convicted of felonies - convicted, not some erroneous story on some right wing blog or FOX news but convicted in federal court.

Impeachment is not on the table yet because proof is not confirmed of his actions, vs those of Holder et all.

That may change if the Senate can pressure the hell out of the IRS, ATF, etc, to releasing info they have been withholding.

No impeachment. However, I think some ammendments to Obamacare will be brought and he will either go along or be forced to veto. The veto may be really bad for Dems in 2016.

He's definitely centrist. The true left and true right both can't stand him. The difference is the true left doesn't hate him, while the right does.
