what will the major pieces of legislation be that they send to Obama's desk for a signature?

I have heard almost no talk of what the GOP has as a plan if, or when, they take back the Congress.

Sadly, I looked and I don't see where there appears to be much of an agenda.

I would be happy with a budget to start things off.

there are over 300 bills passed by the House that are sitting on Harry Rieds desk not getting brought up for a vote in the Senate, they can start there.

I did see where they were going to honor the last budget approved.

The first thing they need to do is send a budget. how many years has it been since a budget was submitted?

If they send a budget and Obama approves it, I'm going to lose my shite.

The budget we're using now (yes, we have one, it's just being recycled every fiscal year) is demolishing deficits. Cut a little more, and Obama leaves office with a budget that starts paying down the national debt.

The Congressional Republicans have no agenda save defeating every Obama proposal. They exist to be against Obama.

When Repubs control both houses of Congress, they will pass legislation that much of the voting public does not want IF they do anything at all.

Losing control of the Senate is NOT a good thing for Democrats. But, it will make President Obama look great in his last two years. And Dems will sweep back in 2016 winning the Presidency and the Senate.

Check back in when you sober up.

But unless they can tie the Bamster directly to some of the illegal activities that his lackeys are committing, I am not in favor of impeachment. They have done a fine job of insulating him. Almost like they took lessons from the Chicago mob.

Pump the brakes.

In comparison to the last five years, yes, the deficit has been reduced. However, those five years were the five highest deficits in U.S. history. This year's deficit is still in the Top Ten highest all-time.

No it isn't. We are still running the largest deficits to date. Just because the current budget deficit is $1 million less than the previous deficit that was $2 trillion, doesn't deserve any praise. National DEBT is the problem. We are nearing $18 trillion in debt. When Obama took office, we were at what, 7 or 8 trillion? This damaging president has more than doubled the national debt since he's taken office.

Obama vs GOP-controlled Congress = Stalemate.

But, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Imo, a Barack Obama who doesn't have to face the electorate again could be a very scary dude.

Of course, he'll probably do most of his damage with EO's, though, like the defacto amnesty that will be here by Christmas.

There will be no signatures.

I would expect Obama will instantly take action on immigration with the intent to draw the Republicans into a fight.

If they can resist, they should push, bipartisan, pro-growth strategies ie. energy policy with keystone pipeline, corporate tax reduction, school option, than start nibbling on Obamacare(med. device tax).
