Well, Trump has golf courses in foreign countries. They charge green fees. But I don't think that would amount to billions.

The $20mm figure referenced in the OP is PROBABLY derived from this article in Forbes, which tracks approximately that total amount of composite earnings over a 21-year period. The VAST majority of that sum was between 2017 and 2019.

One of those four houses was the damned Naval Observatory, the official residence of the VP. You might as well claim that Trump owned the little place at 1600 Pennsylvania. Another was a DC rental that he leased after his term as VP.
