A&M has a satellite campus in Qatar and receives money from the government. One would think it would be a no-brainer to sever the ties but I won't hold my breath.

A&M has received $500 million from Qatar in recent years. That's insane to even think about.

Money rules this earth. The people who worship or have no other values or morals. Only money. Period. It’s how satan controls the weak.

Being tied to the Bush family certainly helps.

There have been discussions about the potential NIL impact of Middle East interests who have considered getting active in college football.

Think about what happens if the saudis partner with the University of Michigan or something to drive NIL/transfer activity?

Wouldn’t take anything close to the investment they had with LIV to take over the sport.

Imagine how Qatar would react to the Aggie's butt sex and male cheerleaders?

Damn. What is the pretense for this investment in one University?

You obviously know little about the Arab male. Let me help. A common phrase is, "Women are for babies. Boys are for pleasure.

Unless A&M is doing anti academic research for them, consider it a plus. Youre taking their money.

It’s always been unsettling to me as well.

I did some extended post-doc work in Qatar. And while my research wasn’t at TAMU-Qatar/Education City (I was at Qatar University), my time in Doha was, unequivocally, the most disquieting period of my life.

I’m not a woman who is prone to exaggeration; on the contrary, my career and upbringing have baked into me an analytical, fact-based approach to life. But the mentality over there (even amongst supposed progressives) is anathema to the views of most of western civilization … particularly with regard to women.

At one point—despite my (daily) wearing extremely conservative dark clothing, a pashmina scarf on my head, a long skirt, and sleeves covering my wrists—a weapon was shown to me for not being sufficiently “covered.”

There are good people in Qatar. There are also people who would like to see the US and it’s inhabitants slaughtered. Just my personal experience—which was different than that of some of my colleagues.

The sad part is, people will still attend games and blindly go along with it, totally oblivious to the big picture.
