I'm super educated and I didn't vote for Obama.
What does that say?
I don't think it says anything as plenty of extremely intelligent, well-educated people voted for each of the two candidates. I am not making the argument that more intelligent people are more inclined to vote for one party or another. Although it has been statistically shown that people with advanced degrees are more likely to vote democrat, it's a separate argument as to whether such people are in fact more intelligent (however you want to define "intelligence") than those without advanced degrees.
However, many on this board have contended that people voting for Obama are either (i) looking for handouts, (ii) unintelligent, (iii) unable to grasp basic economic theory or (iv) otherwise completely uninformed about anything. This article identifies a group of Americans that are more likely to be intelligent, hard working high earners than your average American. And yet they supported Obama by a huge margin. I just wanted to see this board's explanation for such behavior.
