Oh yeah...like the DO re the IRS and Fast n Furious. Or those in the VA who made $bonuses for effectively MURDERING sick folk who needed prompt treatment. Won't happen, because somebody will 'look' bad, WF. They will run out the clock.

Those are not part of the military justice system. The military is investigating and will then decide whether to bring charges and if so he'd be tried. Military justice system has its faults but generally is pretty good. They are investigating now, they won't run out the clock. Release a book before the investigation or there is a trial you muck these up.

Are you trying to sell books, or suck Obama's cock?

Sadly you truly believe politics plays no part in the Military Justice system.

Expanding on that sentence:

""I'm not sure we can publish this book without the Right using it to their ends," Sarah Durand, a senior editor at Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, wrote in an email to one of the soldiers' agents.

"[T]he Conservatives are all over Bergdahl and using it against Obama," Durand wrote, "and my concern is that this book will have to become a kind of 'Swift Boat Veterans for Truth'" — a reference to the group behind a controversial book that raised questions about John Kerry's Vietnam War record in the midst of his 2004 presidential campaign. (Durand did not respond to requests for comment. "We do not comment about our editorial process," said Paul Olsewski, vice president and director of publicity at Atria.)"

Of course it does to a certain degree, maybe more than in a civil trial, but I guarantee they do an investigation quicker and usually more thoroughly. If they find anything he'll probably get a deal. The disposition doesn't mean the facts won't be found. I know both systems and in many ways the military system is better. Regardless any book won't help the investigation and/or trial. It does make these guys look greedy though. Wait until it's done then publish if you disagree.

The investigation does not equate to judicial punishment, this is a hot political football.

No it doesn't but as of now know one really knows the facts. Those need to be discovered. The politics will play in the deal offered.

“I’m not sure we can publish this book without the Right using it to their ends,” Sarah Durand, a senior editor at Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, wrote in an email to one of the soldiers’ agents, Yahoo News reported.

“[T]he Conservatives are all over Bergdahl and using it against Obama,” she wrote, also comparing the book to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a veterans group that raised questions over John Kerry’s Vietnam record during his run for president in 2004.

I read this yesterday but didn't post it because I figured it would go the way it has. What I took from the story was there publishers are making a conscious effort to not get this compelling story out.

And, the "waiting on the story to come out" crowd? These guys aren't the mess hall janitors. One was his TEAM LEADER and the other was his

I'll also add that if ANYONE thinks the deserter will be punished by so much as even KP and make the dear leader look bad I've got some property I'll give you a hell of a deal on.
