Well, to be fair, I'm a gentleman and not easily provoked. But I would find a big burly dude going after Mrs Pimp more threatening than a super- mouthy twink. And I think it's part of the Man Code that we really haven't thought much about-that we put super-effeminate gays in the "off-limits" category not very far removed from women. And super-effeminate gays know this, and push the envelope further because they have this expectation as well.

Lol. I just walked Mrs Pimp through the scenario without saying what your wife said and she said the same thing "I'd take him out". Mrs Pimp weighs 100lbs and I believe her. They don't call her The Dragon Lady for nothing.

Like another poster said, how often do productive citizens "knuckle up" over such a thing these days? For better or worse, decent people don't risk getting arrested or sued over disrespect in 2016.
I only see actual physical altercations when both parties are drunk (tiger land, tailgates, etc.).

This evening, two super fems were checking out at the grocery store. The 'wife' was actually checking out, and the 'husband' was deliberately standing back where he was blocking me from setting my hand basket up on the automated check out conveyor with his back to me. There was at least five feet between him and his partner. It was one of those times where you could just tell that someone was being an arse on purpose.
I took a dollar bill out of my pocket, dropped it on the floor, and said, "excuse me, you may have dropped something." He looked down and leaned over to pick it up. At that instant, when he was out of the way, I set the basket down on the conveyor, and said, "Oh, my mistake. I dropped it by accident" and reached over and took the dollar bill out of his hand.
He took a weird gay guy look at me and never said a word. He just threw his head back and walked to the other side of his wife.

The whole world is not 22 year old college people. There is an entire world of "unproductive citizens" out there. I'd tell you that if you wore a Trump shirt in any liberal urban enclave, you'd find yourself protecting you and yours from verbal harrassment and worse with the quickness.
