I am not a big man. I am not a fighter. I'm 6 feet tall, 155 pounds. I lift and go to the gym and have a lean body with low body fat %, but I am no match for guys who are 75-100 pounds larger than me, like the main dude who I was arguing with tonight. That's why I was afraid - I knew if shite actually got physical I would have gotten destroyed.
It was a petty argument that could have been avoided, and now I am paying the price for it.

People outside the South often discount Southern manners. They shouldn't. It is a great practice that creates societal balance. I've interviewed gang bangers in jail who still said "yes, sir" and "no, sir" to me because they were raised right. If we had universal common courtesy, a lot of our strife would go away (and worldstar would go out of business).

I'm not sure why so many people here have an obsession with beating people (of any description up). If you are defending yourself or others from a physical attack, sure. Why get into a fight on an airplane though? It seems really trashy.
