These CIA leaks today show that the CIA, NSA and other intelligence organizations are simply government sponsored organized crime

He still is.

It's not about what he brought to light, it's about how he went about doing it.

Either we are a nation of laws, or we are not.

I agree...if I was POTUS, I would ask him to come back, plead guilty/stand trial and I'd send him to the country club of his choice for the min sentence.

Exposing massive illegal activity by the deep state needed to happen, maybe in court he can defend himself on the shitty format at which we bring things to light...

I love the dumbing down of this conversation into "he's either a hero or he's not!"

As if this isn't a complex issue. We need to dumb it down into black and white and argue it like children.

He really didn't have any other way. They would have personally destroyed him or killed him.

Anyone else remember Assange saying there was enough info in the Wikileaks to expose the US government? Is this it you reckon?

Why can't he be both? Sometimes doing the right thing makes you the bad guy.

I mean technically he is a traitor.

I don't think whistleblowing on the govt is always a bad thing. If they are exposing govt corruption. That doesn't change the fact that he was given a clearance and access to classified material. By definition, he's a traitor to America.

Well, he's doing a bang-up job of avoiding that.

It's a good thing I don't agree with everything Trump believes.

Of course it isn't. We even have procedures for people to do just that.

His actions weren't limited to that, either.

Yes. He was granted asylum by and still lives in Russia. If you don't think Putin controls what he releases, you're wrong.

There are ways to express your concern other than running to Vlad Putin.

The IC is unelected. Who do they answer to? Whichever deep-pocketed globalist can manipulate them most effectively.

We really do need a revolution in this country.
