So, it's not only white Americans who are xenophobic!
This needs to go viral!

This stuff isn't exactly new. They did this when they saw a large influx of people from India who started running successful businesses.

Mostly other parts of Africa.

SA already turns away ~90% of immigrants.

Black natives in South Africa are protesting mainly about Indians and other Asians who have migrated into Africa to do business and work...Nationalism and lack of jobs is emerging as a world wide situation...

When I visited South Africa 5 years ago, they were having major problems with xenophobia--as in, murdering immigrants.

In fact, that was the first time I ever recall hearing xenophobia. It does put our "xenophobia" into context and highlights that bigotry is not a binary concept.

Edit: I'm not implying anti-illegal immigration is bigoted at all. I'm saying that compared to other parts of the world, whatever bigotry exists here, is far less exteme.

Spend some time studying some basic social/anthropology and it will all become very clear what it's all about...basically it's called tribalism!

Yeah, that was a bad deal. Kicked out all the Asian and Indian business owners and gave the businesses to black Africans. The businesses failed miserably.

More importantly, the white farmers were screwed over and the result was not enough food to eat...did you know that Mr. Fraud himself, Warren Buffet, spent several million dollars on machinery and training to make native men farmers...he and his son came back to America with their proverbial tails between their legs and admitted failure...duh!

I had not heard about that. Do you have something I can read on the subject?

Not to depend this, but colonialism, neocolonialism and crony capitalism has gutted our worlds naturally wealthiest continent.

Seems as though the native population doesn't do a great job of self governance or exploiting their abundant resources either.

Wrong. Internal corruption and tribalism have bankrupted and screwed over places like Nigeria and RSA that were once on their way to being Tier 1 or 2 nations.

Wanting America to enforce its laws against ILLEGAL immigration does not constitute bigotry, snowflake.

My personal direct feet on the ground experience over 40 years of travel to most of the world is that political and personal corruption guarantee failure for the culture and nation...jmho

Must be true . . . look at Zimbabwe and their thriving culture now that they've gotten all (or most) of the white farmers out

Personally I would like for all nations of the world to allow visitors and tourists to only stay for a prescribed amount of time and then they must leave. This is because I personally like to visit different and unusual cultures to stimulate my imagination,etc...I hate that the entire world is becoming so homogeneous...even in remote places like Laos or Cambodia western styles and culture are yuking it up...jmho
