Another "win" for western values

Muslim women basketball players are on the brink of winning their battle to wear hijab while playing the sport after basketball's governing authority today approved a proposal to allow headgear to be worn by players.
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) said in a statement that "the Central Board approved a proposal put forward by the Technical Commission for a new rule that will allow headgear to be worn by players. The new rule was developed in order to minimize the risk of injuries and preserve consistency of the color of the uniform."
The long-awaited decision is expected to come at the end of this week, two and a half years after FIBA first started looking at revising its ban on headgear in September 2014.

Uh.. what keeps their pants from just dropping on down to the ground? I'd have to kind of shuffle instead of actually walking to keep them from falling down.
I'm going to adopt this look the next time I go to the grocery with my wife.

Really? I know the difference. Which of the comments are proven false? It would inhibit peripheral vision.

But, where's he even going here? Nobody mentioned or was seemingly talking about Burkas. Everything cited was clearly pointing to and addressing simple head coverings and the issues with those.

Saw a kid shuffling around like that, and was falling behind his buddies. Suddenly he grabbed his pants with one hand and started doing a mixture of shuffle/running to catch up.
