I interpreted it as that she is just a woman and isn't capable of using the military of might at he disposal and she should just stick to facebook.

I expect to see a rise in Germans seeking increased military capability. There will be Germans who point out they cannot rely on the United States to protect German interests after watching the humiliating performance of Barack Obama in matters of foreign policy. The situation in Ukraine is just the straw that will break the camel's back. The other NATO countries will probably be slower to react than the Germans due to weaker economies.
