Thanks. Sometimes my wife gets on my PC when I'm working and posts under my screen name. She can get pretty fanatical....especially about St George.

Also known as Bill Clinton style foreign policy.

Yes I have, but to say they are "the most vocal about it" on this board is absurd.

I am calling a spade a spade, your side attacked our president during a time of war, overseas, and it still burns me up to no end. Calling GWB a torturer, saying GWB lied about WMDs when you and all on the left know the CIA told Clinton in 1999 the same thing, he had WMDs. GWB had a hell of a predicament placed in his lap and he dealt with it with ALL OF OUR LIVES IN MIND, and to be attacked for political gain was BS and you know it.

GWB had every right to take out Saddam because he failed to cooperate as his cease fire agreement stated he would. GWB did not allow Saddam to cross his red line as Obama allowed Syria and even Iran to do, who are well on their way to a nuclear weapon now. If GWB hadn't of acted Iraq and Saddam would have become a nuclear state by now.

And by the way, Iraq wouldn't be in such disarray as we speak if Obama hadn't of pulled out all the troops, and this fool is going to do the same thing in Afghanistan, having learned nothing.

A-WANT wants to go after the terrorist now, and I applaud you, but these guys goals haven't changed, they were the exact same 10 years ago and 25 years ago, during the period the left were maligning our president during a trying time of war.

Am I angry at the peaceniks who undermined our president during a war that was brought to our door steps ? Hell yea, it's time the peaceniks own up to their failings and admit they were wrong, Qatar, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Iran and most of Arabia are funding these radical jihadist, and they have to be stopped, AT ALL COST.

I am not here to be nice to people that undermined our president during war time, if they want to admit their erroneous ways and jump on board thats ok by me, but people who undermined GWB, imho, are no better than Hanoi Jane, or Benidict Arnold.

with boots on the ground, lots of spilled blood and treasure? Because that's what it will take. Air power will do almost nothing.

Agree and there will be a division on the ground in less than 90 days.

Not at all.

For starters no boots on the ground isn't really a war, but I will grant the point to you.

I am not on here saying the president is a murderer, a torturer or claiming he is a war criminal for fighting terrorists, but rather voicing the opinion of his own generals that boots on the ground is a necessary evil.

This president himself apologized in Cario for America's torturing of muslims, a traitorous act imo.

He has destabilized the whole region (fact) by taking out governments and refusing to leave troops in the region. He isn't committed to a war because bombing from the air will never defeat ISIS.

If he went after all terrorist 100 percent I would be behind him, but imho, and most of the retired military personal, he isn't serious about this adventure.

Obama has bombed 7 countries, GWB only 4.

In my opinion, everything he has done adds up to him trying to bring forth a calphate state, or else he is just dumb as hell.

Maybe. But I seriously doubt Obama has the balls to put significant combat forces on the ground to slug it out. More than likely he'll bomb for a while then hope this falls from the news cycle so someone else can deal with the problem.

Aint no fricking way unless they start shooting down bombers left and right.

Obama will slow roll this until his term is over. You can already see the "it will take years" message coming out of the administration

You, and you dumbazz liberal anti-American commie pinkos should have backed GWB at eradicating these terrorists POSs the first time, instead of giving aid and comfort to the enemy by attacking our president with BS lies.

Well I certainly am. I demand John Kerry go put a daisy in Assad's AK-47 immediately!

Obama, Don't Lie to Me!
Bombs don't Bring Democracy!

Hell no we won't go
we won't kill for Texaco!

I'm anxiously waiting for the new cynical Hollywood movie starring George Clooney and Tim Robbins, with Bruce Springstein doing the theme music which will chronical the tragedy caused by America's war machine.

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death's construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord yeah!

I form my own opinons by reading history and understanding the cause/effect of actions.

You read liberal blogs and watch propaganda news organizations like NBC, ABC, CBS CNN, PBS etc. You got brainwashed by the education system.

I think for myself, which is why I became anti-death-penalty. I reasoned out this equation: too many innocent men are being found on death row.

Am I for the death penalty ? yes, but not as long as we have a system that convicts innocent men.

By the way, I have never listened to talk radio, save sports shows.

No way. Not even Obama could recover from that politically. And if he did so without congressional authorization, he might be impeached.

One of the points which was made in the OP really sums everything up, imo. Just 12 months ago, Obama was chomping at the bit to engage in military activity in Syria WHICH WOULD HAVE HELPED ISIS. That states the problem in a nutshell, imo. This once-great country has foolishly elected a community organizer without a clue TWICE, and we are reaping what we have so stupidly sown. Domestically, internationally, and in every way imaginable.

Proving once and again the Obama reacts to current events, and really has no strategy.

He laughed when Romney suggested Putin's Russia was an enemy.

Now he's helping the Syrian govt. who we were on the brink of bombing a year ago.

So I guess you believe that we need to actually win the war
I'd be satisfied with containing them in Syria and Iraq and limiting their ability to strike the US. I don't expect to destroy them, which would certainly require US troops on the ground, and I don't think ISIS is enough of an immediate threat to us to justify a ground war. If they become a threat to the west on part with Al qaeda, there will be more support for dealing with them more actively.

The president doesn't think it's war time. Why should I?

In all seriousness, it's a very dangerous situation and we have the least prepared president in history at the helm.

No americans are at risk, right? No boots are on the ground.

We don't even know who we are fighting.

Are we fighting the Syrian govt. Syrian Rebels? Isis? AQ?

Obama says there is no war on terrorism. Obama draws a line and does nothing. Why would anyone take him seriously now?
