My fear? They follow it to where "they" want it to go.

I've been following surveillance for years, and especially since Lois Lerner. These people are dishonest. Look, we have two guys on here that defend the IC, and will defend it all the way to the end. Do you not see the personality? They don't question anything. Fine, they're probably good guys doing their job, but they blindly follow. I learned to not do this in the military as soon as the shooting began. Maybe before.

Either way, Trump associates cooperation, or inappropriate surveillance, this is not good for democracy. If both are true, which is worse? Some guys playing to win, or our government lying to us? My instinct is that it is the latter, not the former. Politics has been played to be won for decades.

Trump is correct. He inherited a mess. North Korea. Who exactly was asleep at the wheel when that became a threat and could have been stopped? The IRS clearly acting inappropriately, and probably illegally. Comey, the leader, and his people necessarily being a reflection of his leadership? At least some blindly following him. Two Attorney Generals who should have been disbarred. The military handcuffed and essentially sitting targets to move forward an agenda. Producers penalized and growth stymied. Government intervention at the highest level in our lives.

And they're still at it. Alleged conservatives working either knowingly, or unknowingly, (and they could be that stupid) , along with the Dems and media. Trump is somewhat handcuffed until this gets resolved.

They have permeated every area of our life. They have too much power. They are above the law.

You're posting in a thread arguing about the evidentiary basis of a FISA warrant and still claiming there was no surveillance.

I think we know there was FISC-approved surveillance of Carter Page. A "Trump associate/advisor" if you will. The CNN article in this thread was written in an odd way so I wondered whether it implied someone else was subject to FISC-approved surveillance, although it has been reported before that only one Trump associate was subject to FISC-approved surveillance. That's what we know at this point. Not FISA warrants approved to surveil Donald Trump or members of his transition or anyone else since his administration began.

Right on cue. I do not understand how you can remain partisan on an issue such as this.

If Trump messed up then he needs to go and be prosecuted.

If the IC messed up (or did so as a result of fraudulently obtained FISA warrants) then they deserve the same.

These issues are huge.

I'm just repeating what has been reported, in some cases by multiple sauces.

You and I have had good discussions about the FISA courts in the past. I respect you.

There have been multiple reports highlighting the "proof" from both sides of this issue.

I think a lot of the discussion of this in the media is ham-handed. Also, not every report on this is going to be 100% accurate. It's an incomplete picture and it's easy to fill in the blanks in a way that supports one's bias. I have been trying to keep that in mind. It's not easy to get every detail right even if you follow it as best you can.

Dang decatur if you don't fight the fight. Don't get banned because I'll miss the banter. But yeah, Obama didn't spy on Trump, the British spied on Trump at the request of Obama, gave Obama the intel, then Obama claimed ignorance. Slick Willy has a protégé.

Good Lord. What a disingenuous hack. Didn't think you would be one to actually require Obama to physically attach a bug to his phone.

You just went from "Trump" to "Trump admin". Both are not accurate. "Trump campaign officials" or "Trump transition officials" would be a little more accurate.

Do you idiots know how dumb this sounds? Do you minimze your childrens' bad behavior too?

One of you said just last week that Rudy Friggin Giuliani was now the link between Trump and Russia. And here's the kicker, bun...you keep searching and I'm sure you can find someone that Trump knows also has relations in Russia.

The audacity that you would even THINK to insult this board's intelligence with this horseshite is damn near criminal. Just admit it, you are a complete shill.

uh, Trump's lawyer offered up his passport. None of the trips he supposedly took on Trumps behalf occurred, because he was NEVER in that country. Ever
