Im torn: on the one hand i dont want any chance at all of roy moore as a senator, but on the other hand a moore victory highlights how worthless an endorsement from trump is, even in a state that still supports him 15 points above the national average.

I hope this opens the door for doug jones, but i doubt it.

You quoted the wrong part of my post that is the wishful thinking.

You are naive to think that it wont play that way if moore wins the runoff.

Doug Jones has as much chance as a one legged man at a tail kicking contest. Dream On. The Dem Party is as dead in Alabama as it is in Mississippi. And it is their own fault. That party has been hijacked by and supports radical leftists that do not represent the values of this state. The National Democrat Party in its current state should be labeled as an Enemy to the State/Nation. If the Dems would nominate a conservative Democrat (Jim Webb type) I would consider him. But those type no longer exist.

I will vote for Roy Moore & don't even have to think about it

I agree with him om way more than I disagree with him on

I agree with his stances on the 10 commandments & gay marriage

I do find it frustrating that he violated the law to make a point (something we crucify the left for)

I really wanted Mo Brooks (well, I really wanted a lesser known candidate that was a true outsider, but we only had 3 choices that had a shot)

Luther Strange is a scumbag and a liar

His actions allowed Bentley to stay in power longer than he had a right to AND to basically go unpunished

Strange sold out for an appointment to the Senate

taking down Strange also sends (another) powerful message to the establishment

but either way I will not be too unhappy - both are fairly reliable votes for the Trump agenda

but we are back to "lesser of too evils"

and right now, Moore is the less tainted candidate IMO
