Where do these news outlets gather their data from? This strike not only is ongoing, but also just happened only half a day ago.

It's not like they had "TERRORIST" tatt'ed on their chest so how can they quantify these figures exactly?

It is not a feeling, it is a fact.

1 We went to Vietnam to conduct defensive war to support a sovereign country defeat an invasion and insurgency. The support to Vietnam did not violate international law.

2. We went to Iraq to conduct an offensive war to promote the interests of a variety of policy elites. The invasion of Iraq violated international law.

3. Our political leadership in Vietnam understood only ground forces could defeat another military, maybe because they had served in war

4. Our political leadership here thinks that you can win a war with air power, likely because they are bitches who have never served.

5. Our enemy in Vietnam was not subsidized by our "allies".

6. We continue to support and prop up the very regimes who support ISIL, could you imagine propping up the Soviet Union or kissing the ring of Brezhnev while we fought in Vietnam.

7. Although we bombed Cambodia and destabilized their country at least it was unintentional.

8. Initially Hundreds of Thousands of Americans proudly went to Vietnam and our country supported the war until they realized it was not worth the treasure. Today Americans will demand action but will ruin the US military by making it a mercenary force.

We never even officially declared war in Vietnam, that shows how unrighteous it was.

I couldn't be further from a hippy if I tried. I just don't like how convenient the whole isis thing is considering how much this president, and some other western leaders, begged the USA to bomb and kill in Syria.

Obama et al got their wish. I hope they know how many innocent lives they ruined with bloodshed. Its so scary how easy it is to lie to americans to get them to go to war. It started with the Gulf of Tonkin "incident" which never actually happened the way it was reported.

Now we have a US run operation for Isis to start the war Obama and others wanted. So many tough guys are insecure about their masculinity so shouting war in syria and running propaganda makes it soo easy to whip them into a frenzy.

I've even seen threads here talking about isis like they aren't human.

All these tough guys have absolutely no idea how hard it is to shoot someone. There are men who never really recover the shock of shooting someone else their age in war. All the tough guy talk in the world can't change the feeling you get as you survey a battle scene with blood, guts, and dead bodies around you.

Horrible.

And I wouldn't even wish it on these chicken hawks wanting other people to fight.

ISIS fighters doesn't seem to have much of a problem murdering innocent civilians, whether they are men, women, or children.

You do understand that the war that the President wanted in Syria was against Assad and on the same side as ISIS until ISIS made itself into a public spectacle of evil, right? Perhaps I phrased that incorrectly. You are too stupid to breed and to post. Please do none of either.

Not to mention our prolonged military action (since it was never declared a war) in Vietnam was internationally decried. You'd think from his post that it was some universally celebrated humanitarian intervention.

I'm sure if you shake the right hands you can be first on the plane to get them. Kindly count me out.

PS.
Please don't take what the government is saying about isis seriously, they want war.

Oh, and since we are talking about meddling in other countries affairs, why did the NSA take down the internet across Syria at several points except to make the situation worse? I see you believe the propaganda. Have a good day, buy some war bonds on the way to get lotto tix pls :usa:

I'm not going to defend the stupidity and illegalities that characterized the Vietnam War. The point is the stupidity and illegalities of fourteen years in Mesopotamia along with what should be very little national interest far outweigh the stupidity of Vietnam.

And by the way, it was only initially internationally decried by Marxists, so if you are one, I'll give you a pass.

We lost roughly 58,000 soldiers for an ultimately futile cause in Vietnam. Good luck arguing that was less of a waste than our current affairs in Mesopotamia.

Don't take that as a wholehearted endorsement of our activities in the latter, however.

The war on terror is about 1.6 billion per terrorist caught or killed, and the war on drugs is almost worse.

Go 'Murica. Once again, as in so many other matters, our government creates the problem and then presents itself as a solution to the problem all to fatten the wallets of monied elites at the top of the economic pile. And brain dead Americans continue to lap up the bullshite.
