Lol, sorry Charlie, no sale.

Paul "I've worked on this bill for 20 years" Ryan owns this shite.

Trump's was at fault for wanting an immediate victory and therefore choosing the closest bill already completed.

Those of you who voted for Trump because he's a businessman and not a politician, well, this is the outcome to expect. He does not comprehend all the moving parts involved in something like this.

Not saying that's necessarily a bad thing; we didnt get a shite bill passed with 70000 tons of pork attached to it, which is what would have happened if "politics as usual" had its way.

But you gotta be okay with looking like a dumbass.

Yeah that's basically what I'd do. Tax reform and infrastructure first. He can get some relatively easy wins there. Put healthcare on the backburner even if it's unpopular... it's better than having a huge failure like this in your first 100 days.

Trump already said he wish he would have gone after the tax issue first. He spent a lot of political capital (which he does not have much of) on this health care disaster.

Working on the bill for 20 years and this is the best they can do?

Non stop bitching for 7 years about Obamacare and can't even vote on it?

7 years. These turds had 7 years to figure this out.

I'll never vote Democrat. But this is an embarrassment to the GOP.

It's just like it was after Bush the Younger was elected. The GOP in Congress have the combined leadership abilities of a three legged blind dog.

The dog finally caught his tail, and then vomited all over it.

Trump just folded on his threat to have this bill go for a vote and for it to be the only chance to repeal/replace the ACA. What leverage is he going to have next time around?

The way I understood it, getting HC done first, allows for more money to use/have for the future plans (Tax Reform/Infrastructure). They can still do those, but not to the level they might have wanted.

Exactly. If I were Ryan... I wouldn't be saying that.

Now the Republicans can get back to doing what they actually want to do. Bitch about Obamacare and do nothing about it. Bunch of incompetent idiots. The whole lot of them.

All they want to do is grandstand and point the finger at somebody else. When it comes down to actually putting together legislation worth a shite, it's like asking a 2nd grade class to put together a cost benefit analysis.

Trump absolutely fricked this thing up. Ryan will take the fall, but Trumps need for immediate results led to a shitty bill that Ryan attempted to force down the houses throat.

Pathetic. Ryan should've stood up to Trump from the start because Trump is about to throw him so far under the bus it isn't even funny.

I am Ryan's #1 fan and don't care much for Trump but you have this kinda backwards mate. I'll allow it though.

This is why the White House shouldn't have publicly stated the President wanted a vote today.

Trump takes a big hit on this one.

4th dimensional chess! The dems shot their load, getting ginned up and all their talking points scripted out on the repeal bill...Trump says.."Never mind." Now jamb something down their throats before they can regroup. Nuke Gorsuch in. They would be curled up into sobbing balls of sputtering word salad.

While they're having a Kuckenwald level seizure over that start the wall and round up more aliens.

It would be glorious!
