Students shouldn't be having to fight. Where are the cops posted on campus? They should be on scene within 1 minute of hearing shots echo across campus

If you are a campus cop with a weapon waiting for backup outside of a building where shots are being fired you need to face jail time. Students aren't armed, and aren't being paid to be an armed guard. Get your arse and your pistol to the scene.

Imagine the feeling of having to throws chairs at a shooter while someone with a weapon who is literally paid to sit around incase this happens is no where to be found

Edit: if after initial shots the shooter went into hiding then obviously no officers are at fault here.

I have not seen that in any other tweet during previous incidents of this type. My question stands: fight with what?!?! What exactly can stand up to a firearm?! These students are powerless.

I don't know if social media/smartphones makes it easier or harder to protect oneself from the danger. Information travels so fast but it can be false.
