That's not how this works. With that being said I don't think the ban is it illegal or unconstitutional

What is his position in the administration?

Well that settles that........
IF this is true, this person should be directed by official government correspondence that the president expects the DOJ to immediately implement and defend asn necessary any and all presidential orders. The minute she fails to do so, she should be demoted or potentially fired.

Direct insubordination may in fact be a fireable offense.
SET HER UP!!!

Weird that it didn't ban people from all those other Muslim countries then. Would've been a lot more effective. That's like a billion Muslims that can still come here.

He's not in the administration which is interesting. His own interview Saturday admitted Trump asked Rudy to advise his people on how to craft the EO. RUDY HAS A BIG MOUTH.

Sao said that it was a ban against a religion.. so I asked him which one?? I don't recall seeing anything about a specific religion mentioned in the EO. If everyone is claiming it is a Muslim ban, then why are not Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, India and other predominately Muslim countries on the list? Does it ban British or EU citizens who are muslim from entering the US?? Nope.. therefore it is not a ban against a religion..

I've seen this posted multiple times today, in the context of challenges to the EO. How is this relevant? The EO does not call our specifc religions, and Rudy is not in the administration. It doesn't matter what Trump may or may not have asked him. Why not argue the constitutionality of the EO based on the actual EO?

Sally Yates, the Obama appointed Deputy AG.
God Bless America! it will be good to to see these 100% partisan hacks cleared out of presumed nonpartisan positions.

I could've sworn that he said on Judge Jeanine's show that it was not religious in nature but security threat based. There isn't a religion named in the EO.

Explain how an attorney in the public sector, in an office that from time to time acts as solicitor to the POTUS, is doing her job by releasing her opinion without permission of her client?

Mr. Trump has the authority to fire Ms. Yates, but as the top Senate-confirmed official at the Justice Department, she is the only one authorized to sign foreign surveillance warrants, an essential function at the department.
