Their sponsors should be polevaulting off that torpedoed ship. Why are we not hearing about any bailing.

The majority of the funding comes from cable subscribers who are paying whether they watch CNN or not. The only way to hurt them financially is cord cutting, the same as ESPN.

You act like the articles are only sourced as infowars or gateway pundit, so they have no merit.
Well they should be viewed more skeptically, especially when we are relying on their presentation of data.

But the sourcing clearly has links to Variety and TVNewser.
Which is why I said this:

All I saw was a link to data on a single day (June 28th).

Its really not that difficult to find. Even for you
Well one can go back and search day by day ratings for a month. But why wouldn't the original author present that raw data too since he already did it? It also lends legitimacy to the article.

Seriously? I explicitly mentioned that link, BUT it's only ONE DAY. And since they used a 7 day moving average, we can't really even use that one data point to verify the accuracy of the chart.

Look at the graph. Those are the total figures while the graph uses 25-54. I mean those figures aren't even close so it's surprising that you didn't see that right away.

I think CNN losing ratings is plausible, maybe even probable.

I also know that the Gateway Pundit is a terrible source so I'm not going to trust them to verify the plausibility.

And I also expect such a drastic drop in ratings to he identified by a industry publication (like Deadline), well before a political blog.
