About the Muslim Gay cake thing

A persons beliefs are just that, the persons, not everyone else's and that's fine in the confines of your home and personal self. But when you go into public to interact with others in society, it's not about JUST YOU anymore. Are you making cakes because you love Jesus and just for yourself or are you doing it for a profit? Should bakeries be able to refuse service? Or any store for that matter? SURE. But that place of business should expect less revenue and most likely bad media attention. So much for increased profit there. If there isn't a market for said service to said individual, then create one, after all that is what America is about, opportunity. What happened to celebrating our DIFFERENCES? How did we go from celebrating to hating each other because were all different? Yea it sucks you have to go to another bakery, but grow up. Why can't you just order a cake for 50 - 100 people without being all faggy about it? Just walk in like the man you were born and order a cake. Nobody really cares who the heck you sleep with.

I side with the Muslims. I do not support forced association in any way, shape, or form.
Private businesses should be afforded the right to choose who they want to enter an agreement with.
That is a basic tenant of freedom.

Scruffy, I'd like you to ask EVERY person you interact with today what their sexual preference is, if they are OK with YOUR beliefs over their own, and what religion they are. I think you are in for a SHOCK. And if you read my post, I said it was OK for a business to refuse service, I said SURE. But to their loss of profit, the opposite of the reason of running your own business, but hey I digress.

This is a horrible comparison...
This is not what happened at all...
A closer comparison would be:
Walk into a black person's bakery and ask them to make a cake with only white people.
They will immediately ask why...but should they? Does it discriminate against you because of your race?
They will want to know intent, tell them you are having a WPLL movement, and want to kick it off with cake.
Here we have a parallel comparison...subbing "sexual orientation" with "race" in all discrimination laws.

Do you understand that? My choice. Just like it was the CHOICE by these Muslims to ask.
As I said, I support the freedom to choose. You apparently do not, and I find your stance to be fundamentally anti-freedom and therefore anti-American.
