Suburb I guess. I wish I owned a much larger piece of property so as to totally avoid having to encounter a single neighbor ever but still be within driving distance of stores and restaurants and the like.

Rural, but the burbs are creeping closer every day.

I have deer, skunks, raccoons, possums, foxes, coyotes, armadillos, snakes, scorpions, tarantulas. Owls eat the cats around here.

I've got seals, sea lions and humpbacks out front, bears out back. Had a bear break in last week and drag my garbage out. Woke me up at 3am. I am guessing the wife didn't pull the door all the way closed.

But, even downtown you have bear issues around here.
