The U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) informed congressional staffers from several committees on Friday that the emails were found among hundreds of “disaster recovery tapes” that were used to back up the IRS email system.
“They just said it took them several weeks and some forensic effort to get these emails off these tapes,” a congressional aide told the Washington Examiner.

Are they counting each recipient as an individual email? If not... wtf? I couldn't create that many emails in a 2 year period if I tried.

They either had enough time to go through all the emails and scrub the really bad ones or they knew with the right now controlling Congress that the truth was going to come out so they decided to release them...

They won't find a damn thing. And even if they do, they wont have video. And even if they have video, the sound will be of poor quality. Let's just move on with the important work of the American People and stop with the witch hunts!

Typically a Friday document dump before a holiday is withheld for damaging info. If it was good info for the Administration, this would come out on a Monday or Tuesday so the administration could say there is nothing to see...
