If someone gets offended over something like that, feel free not to try and help them out anymore.

They told you not to talk to them like that, so don’t bail their fragile asses out.

True. There are a lot of threads about the pasty pale privileged *president Potato picking a Supreme Court justice on the basis of race.

Past research has found that white supervisors often avoid giving critical feedback to Black subordinates and peers out of a fear of being viewed as biased. Yet it can be more biased to say nothing. Avoiding difficult conversations can impede a young professional’s upward mobility.

I’m not interested in “supporting” my black coworkers. They can take care of themselves. It’s enough on my plate as it is to just make it through the day without losing my mind.

they know that this isn't racism, right? that's a little something called human nature. people are inconsiderate all the time of others even when they are actively trying NOT to be. if you interact with other people they're going to rub you the wrong way or downright insult you on occasion. buck up Susan.

Want to be treated equally, yet expect/demand to be treated differently?

This is all in their feeble little minds. Get fired for being a terrible employee. It’s racism

When telling the truth is racist, then lying is a virtue.

From my work experience, any black employee that needed to be released for substandard work was damn near impossible to let go. Tons of paperwork, documented accounts of specific events, etc. had to be done in order to fire them

God, isn’t this the truth.

I’m one of 4 white people in my department, with 5 Hispanic/Latino employees, and one black woman.

9:1 and guess who the company kowtows to? Guess who is also the person who calls out the most? Is most delayed on her projects? Who came to work last year and wanted an entire meeting designated to discuss Juneteenth and its impact on the still allegedly marginalized communities of color?

I’ll say this: the brown people in my department have less desire to put up with her shite than the white people do, but HR of course won’t touch her with a 10 ft pole.

I’m fricking tired of any person who says I need to do something for them bc of their skin color. frick off. Do better at your job and in life and stop acting like you have a right to take from others.

The only question I have honestly is why the hell is black capitalized through any article now?
