The thread title is the headline of an article being hosted on the Microsoft forum this morning. I find the entire premise of the article to be troubling. One entire race of people looking after another race of people, and the race being looked after expecting to be looked after, and even offering pointers on how to look after them

Like my Uncle Jasper used to say, what in the Sam blazes is this shite?

quote:

Systemic bias

Racism often seems embedded in the fabric of Black people’s everyday lives. And it’s not just being treated differently by the police, which was the impetus for the 2020 protests.

Black people even experience bias from well-meaning schoolteachers, neighbors, colleagues, and managers. Small acts of reckless disregard build toward broad racial disparities.

Therefore, we sought to understand the small acts of resolute connection that could shift the tide toward greater justice and equity

Them - “Microaggressions!”

Me - “I need people who can handle shite and don’t need to be babied.”

Just accept that you’re racist and move on.

Maybe 1 or 2 people on this board would actually care.

The majority of us treat everyone the same based on your work ethic, not your ethnicity.

Work ethic and work product.

You can be a hard worker but still shite at your job.

You must not read very many threads.

I'm going to continue treating people as individuals instead of groups.

On Jan. 20, Kamala Harris took the oath of office on the Capitol steps as the first Black vice president—and only hours later swore in the first Black senator from Georgia. Contrast that with images exactly two weeks earlier of white supremacists storming that very same building.

This is a story about an event that never happened.

Apparently it is “white privilege” to be taught how to act in society. Despite Asians and other groups doing fine too.

The world would be a much better place if this advice were taken. But there are entire industries driven by the race narratives. It's a shame that the race hustlers have the platforms they do and the financial boon it provides them.

So like assuming a black person is too stupid or inept to get an ID so they can vote? That kind of racism?

Pieces of shite come in many colors, so do fine upstanding human beings. Maybe people don't like other shitty people, and would gladly stand-up for, and support, good people.

From my work experience, any black employee that needed to be released for substandard work was damn near impossible to let go. Tons of paperwork, documented accounts of specific events, etc. had to be done in order to fire them. Bad white people? Skip the suspension, just walk them out the door.
Good black employees? Cherished and no one ever has had an issue with them.
