I swear that was my very first reaction too.

I'd go with Kansas City, Dallas or Cincinnati.

I'd go with either KC or Dallas.

Columbus Ohio would be a good place. Battleground state, close to a major university, could be good.

Cincinnati or Denver. Battleground states, and Cincy is historically a Republican city.

You'd have to lock the delegates in their hotel rooms in Vegas during off hours, and even that might not work.

Columbus would be a great place and from everything I've been reading in the news, Columbus is in serious contention. Swing city in a swing state. The state of Ohio usually comes down the central Ohio turnout. Columbus is a city that is growing fast, modern and has Ohio State. Cincinnati gets nothing for R's, Cleveland gets nothing for the D's. Columbus is the key region!

I'll vote for Dallas. They could have pictures of Southfork and lots of oil wells in the background.

For some reason I thought Columbus was much smaller than it actually is. I thought it was maybe slightly bigger than Baton Rouge. I'd be cool with Columbus.

Does anyone know how early this decision is made?
Hopefully well after mid term elections?
