At the end of 2022, 1.9 million fewer Americans were working than in 2019 before the Chinese coronavirus pandemic
President Joe Biden’s administration has funneled two million additional foreign workers into United States jobs.
Paul Ryan and the RINOs are smiling!

The 1.9 million aren’t not working because of the foreigners. The foreigners are here because the 1.9 million are lazy.

fixed
If I grew up in a shite public school system such that the best I could do working is only 20% more than I could get to do nothing I might do nothing too.

That is such horseshite. I know you're incredibly ignorant about almost every topic you post on, but that statement is ridiculous.
In the blue collar trades, particularly home construction, which I deal with almost daily, illegals have depressed the wages in almost every facet of work. I can get a crew of mexicans to do roofing, drywall, or framing for half what an American crew will do it for. I don't even know how the mexicans make any money sometimes, but I try not to ever use them because it feels shitty, to me.
On the white collar front, skilled legal immigrants, particularly from India, have severely depressed wages in all technology fields. Companies use Indians damn near like slaves in IT jobs and pay them far below the average salary, but they're happy to take it knowing they'll get their family over here and be legal citizens with full citizenship in 10 years.
So yeah, when an immigrant has either just straight up taken the job you had because they'll do it for half the wage you were making, or wages have been depressed so low you literally cannot feed your family while working every day, laziness doesn't factor into it.

Anybody on welfare or unemployment today or living off their parents is a lazy POS.

Yep, this is absolutely true. I was talking to a commercial drywall/metal stud contractor the other day. He said he simply couldn't hire any American young kids, and said it's basically impossible. I asked what he was paying, and I was just thinking that would be simply impossible to live off of that in this current economy. Even his experienced journeymen, the best he could pay was less than $30 an hour. I was just thinking that is absolute shite. The illegal Hispanics will come and work these jobs for $15 an hour through 3rd party facilitators, who knows if they are even paying taxes, and then they send all the money home where it's worth more. They also are usually supplied with housing and food cards, and don't have their families with them.
It's a shite system, and the working man has no leverage at all. He can simply be replaced by some foreigner. I get how a cynical libertarian type would smirk at this and say some BS that's "just the free market". It's a completely rigged free market, the free market should be shared amongst country men for their own benefit. It is not just their to cater to wealthy corporations.

Big businesses got bailed out by the government, and small businesses were told to pound sand.
And let's face it. Many were told they weren't essential, and they believed it. Seems like when you demoralize millions of people it has negative repercussions.

I don’t want to sound elitist or anything but a pretty big portion of the country has a sub 80 iq and we took the jobs away that they were able to do, jobs like switchboard operator due to technology or building washing machines due to nafta
You can’t tell those people to learn to code, they lack the mental capacity to do most jobs these days. They can however mug you or steal your car.
The democrats say we have to pay these people off with welfare and food stamps or they will riot but as a based man I say let them riot and we can fix the deficit in a few months

You can absolutely feed a family on minimum wage. Won’t be a very good lifestyle. The problem is that it pays more to not do anything at all. People are incentivized to not work instead of to improve their value as a worker.

This is why when fdr invented the minimum wage he said it was only for high school kids

Skilled Laborers (Blue Collar) could completely shut down the Country if they decided to strike, for whatever reason.
By allowing foreign workers to slide into blue Collar jobs reduces the risk of that happening.

How much of this is people aging out. Boomers just hit retirement age. We need immigration to shore up the labor pool but it needs to be done properly

I can remember as early as Middle School taking classes that introduced us to a trade such as welding and construction.
Then in High School those who wished to continue learning a trade could attend trade school classes (1-3pm) as an elective to further gain experience and prepare for when they graduate and enter the workforce.
Now, not so much. With each passing year schools are slowly doing away with trade schools, which is sad imo.

And the lazy-arse DEMs sit on their couches and collect YOUR tax dollars to do NOTHING.

Obama's "spreading the wealth around". Guaranteed that the 'Omnibus Bill' money/subsidies for millions of illegals far surpasses that of illegals work-based earnings. The coming Debt Ceiling fight will be hoot, as the Dems seek to cover their tracks and strong-arm the Right by focusing cuts in spending on American Citizens, as opposed to Illegals.

We desperately needed more liberal arts degrees.
Couldnt have kids learning trades to distract them from that goal

Feed? Sure.
Buy a house or rent one from Blackrock? Not even close.

On Food stamps alone - no
Include the following, and the result is entitlement based retirement:
WIC
Welfare
Section 8
Medicare / Medicaid /Obamacare
Social Security (not just for retirees)
The safety net is now a hammock, just in a “bad” part of town…for now.
