Leesville is beating Sam Houston 40-20 with about 3 minutes left to go in the game.

Michael Ford has 3 TDs two on runs of +40.

Sounded good on the radio anyway - GO WAMPUS CATS!!!!!

Is there a box score we can see somewhere after the game is over?

dunno - probably not til tomorrow.

Leesville had never beaten Sam Houston before - at least that is what the players were saying at school today.

All I could do was listen to it on the radio.

They said Ford ended with 30 carries and 335 yards.

After watching the game last week and seeing his stats tonight, I really hope Leesville's coach doesn't run Ford into the ground.

Why would you worry? He would have a year to fill up the tank, and even then he would most likely split carries.

You've got X amounts of hits in the bank. With Leesville's OL, he's going to take a beating with that many carries.

Exactly...and everyone jumped my arse when I said that it appeared that they rode him pretty hard in their scrimmage.
They have more talent but just continue to ride his arse to death. This was the trend I felt as though they showed in that scrimmage, but everyone just said that it was normal.

i was at the game. he has 4 tds. he scored the first 4 and the stallworth scored. thats when i left. When i left he had around 200 yards with 7 min left.

both teams are terribly coached.

Things I liked about MF was his ability to see the hole and his speed. he also has more moves then i thought.

I didnt like the fact that a few times he shyed away from contact which surprised me. Only on his short td run did he really initiate the contact. He doesnt finish runs like he should. the way many talked about him i expected him to finish runs kinda like hester did last year. That is one area he needs to work on.

On his long td run of 70 something he showed great speed. thats defiantly not a concern. he also has an amazing burst through the line. havent seen that kind of burst from a hs rb in a long time.

also take all my observations with a grain of salt because the field was terrible.

also stallworth is a stud.

Unless he is getting his arse knocked around, then he is scared.

See he looked very athletic against WM last week. He literally ran away from contact though. What I mean is there was a play where he could've gotten 5-6 more yards, but he chose to run sideways to go out of bounds. It was in the middle of the 2nd quarter, with plenty of time left. It's not like he needed to get out of bound and stop the clock. From what I saw him against WM, I just don't see how he's going to make it in the SEC.

Weird...he initiated contact against WM last week. He lowered his shoulder every time he got the ball. Hmmmmmmmmm...
