Alabama fans are killing me on this board

They drone on and on about how Alabama will be great once they get better players under Nicky but they need to face the facts they the players they have are pretty good and not that far off from LSU's. Look at the rankings since 04' and the picture is pretty clear. Sure we have better players but AL had much better players than than they are taking credit for saying the program was in shambles when Nick took over. Check it out.

Having Nick Saban gives them a lot to be excited about..
they have a storied history.. I understand their passion
But they are annoying as all get out
I hope we beat them like a drum
AU owns them....Tubby has always had success against Nick...they are going head to head...good for us IMO

Shula always had a top 25 class, the bammers are STILL using probation as an excuse, believe me I have family in Montgomery. Its pathetic how delusional those fans really are.
YES LSU has better talent, but the gap is not nearly as huge as the bammers like to think it is, but hey whatever makes them feel better.

What does anyone have if they have no hope?
I think most of them are just hopeful for a decent turnaround this year so it looks like they are headed in the right direction. Clearly, most of them overestimate Sabin's value but I think he can and will slowly improve them somewhat over the next 3 years.
However, in 5 years, I think some of them will begin to understand that the Bama of the past will NEVER return.

while they are delusional at times, saban is a great college coach and more importantly theres a massive different in "top 25 classes" and a top 5 class like saban is pulling in.

but i think with great talent he does a good job. he did win a championship with jimbo (who i thought was better than average himself). saban did do a better than average job at LSU, especially with the defense IMHO

Bama fans have been using this stupid argument about how they will beat us when the playing field is even....well it is inevitable that there will come a time when Bama will beat LSU again...and then they will all be here to say I told you so...its a silly argument they have but when it happens they will all proclaim how they predicted this would happen...well guess what, I predict Bame will beat LSU in the future too...I must be the fricking Oracle.

I think it is more of a umbers thing than a class ranking. Our team this year has 9 seniors which is lower than any team in the country in D-1 football.

Shula had 1 winning season in 4 years...Saban had 1 in his first year. I'm pretty sure he has already done better than Shula and he will do better than Shula. Shula left him a dump. Sure he had top 15 classes, but do you know how many of those 4-stars are no longer with the team? Last year we had like 3 walkons starting..STARTING!
