CFN Preseason All Americans

CFN ranked the top 25 players at each position for preseason. Although CFN is usually very pro-LSU there is not much love on the lists. A little sobering for all the P&G homers/kool-aid drinkers/rantards who think all of our players are top 10 and we are 10 deep at most every position.
CFN Preseason All Americans
Top 25 at each position (according to CFN)
QB - none (of course)
RB - none
WR - none
TE - Dickson #19
OT - Black #8 (Hon. Men.)
OG - Johnson #2 (1st team)
C - Helms #15
DE - Jackson #11, Pittman #22
DT - RJF #5 (Hon. Men.), Alexander #20
LB - none
CB - none (of course)
S - none
P - none (of course)
K - none
PR - none (top 5 only listed)
KR - none (top 5 only listed)
issues that I have:
-Dickson possibly higher
-either Byrd or Lafell should be in Top 25
-not much love for TJackson like everyone else
-Beckwith and Colt David possible Top 25
-Holliday (fastest player in the country) should be Top 5 for KR
thoughts?

Just play the games and we will see who respects who. Preseson anything means nothing.

almost correct... except preseason coaches poll does carry weight in BCS NC game (see Auburn 04 , AP did also then)

I'd like to see the 10 DE's better than Jackson and the 4 DT's better than RJF.

The only very slight issues I had was Byrd not being in the top 25. But I definitely wouldn't have him in top 10 so no big deal. I also thought Beckwith might have been somewhere in the top 25 but barely. I take zero insult to this list.

I also don't see how at least 1 of our 3 RBs aren't in the top 25. For God's sake a UL back in is there.

I think a better way to look at it is like this: Who on the list would you take over our guy (working from the bottom up)?
Ex:
QB - would you take Bacher, Tuitama or Locher over what we have?
RB - How high up the list would you go before you traded out CS or KW? #16, Arian Foster? I've seen our guys play against him and I like ours better.
WR - I go up as high as #3, maybe even #2. Would you trade Byrd or Lafell for Harvin? (as a WR, not the wr/rb combo scatback).
Ex:

This whole thing is a joke! We should have Byrd(Byrd will be a 1st day draft pick and isnt in the top 25) and Lafell for the recievers, Dickson should be higher, Beckwith should be on their, How is Brett Helms not in the 25( should be in the top 10), Colt david should be in the top 25( should be in the top 5!!!), and we could possibly have anyone of our 3 RBs in the top 25
