How many here honestly think we have a real good shot at winning it all again this year. Since I am a realist, I just dont see us doing it this year. If you HAD to bet the house on, it would you really put it all on LSU?

I think we have a shot. Last year it felt like our year. This year it feels like we are mor eon the outside lookin in but still have a chance as lng as we dont get any bad breaks. we know we can lose that 1 game. i think we are def better than all of the teams we play and are close to georgia and florida. we have our strengths and weaknesses and it just depends on how strong our strengths are and how weak our weaknesses are.

I wouldn't bet my house on it, but i'd bet your house on it...

things will need to fall in place, obviously, but we have just as good of a shot as anyone else.

the inexperienced will be experienced by the time we play Auburn.
we are LSU, have faith.

It's a very tough schedule to go that with. A lot of things have to go our way to win it all.

LSU has to get some lucky breaks, just like any team, but the talent level is as high as anyone else

that being said i am glad he is gone.

We simply have as good a shot as anybody. It always boils down to who has the fewest key injuries and who gets the most breaks and with Auburn who gets screwed the least by the officials.

We'll have a realistic chance virtually every year as long as we keep getting the type of players we have. Our chances are above avg. this year, but yeah, a lot of luck is involved most of the time also. So lets see what happens. Can't wait!!!!!!!!

LSU has a chance...but repeating as BCS champ is nearly impossible.

A two loss team won't be in the Championship game this time around.

LSU has quite a few tough road games (AU, UF) and a match up with BCS Preseason Fav UGA.

We backed into it last year I've been waiting for this year since 06'. We are stacked. 11-1.

If you mean we had to bet the house for or against LSU winning it all, then obviously I'd bet against it (no team is a good bet against the field). But if you mean we had to pick one team and bet the house on them winning it all, I don't know that LSU wouldn't be my pick. We have long odds against us, but I'm not really confident they are significantly longer than the odds against anyone else.

The SC/OSU winner probably has a better shot at making the Championship Game, but not as good a chance of winning once they get there. I'd think UF, UGA and LSU are the best bets as the one of those three that emerges on top has a real strong chance of making the Championship Game and should be a strong favorite to win it.

Of course, the question is which of the three will it be.

Would be nice to win one with no doubt from outsiders. No split NC???? No 2 losses, with other 2 loss teams crying about it???? Just go out and win it without a doubt.

get ready for a wild year of offense.....35 average per....and the # 1 defense in the USA......

people weren't questioning Perilloux's experience coming into this season.
he had 1 start, and spot play in a handful of games...

whoever our starter is will have twice that experience by the time we play Auburn...

Flynn was the same way going into last year.
