Why do people still own/play PS2 when the "next-gen" systems

There are a ton of cheap good games available on it, and if you own just a standard tv the graphics are still pretty good in most games.

Haha it's games like FF12 that have kept it a pretty low priority for me to upgrade to a next-gen system....

Getting a 360 was the hardest decision just for the fact that PS3 will have FF 13. In the end my two nephews having a 360 and Xbox Live was what was tipped it in the 360's favor.

Yeah, the free Playstation Network is a huge drawback.

Because gaming isn't all about graphics. There's great games on old systems too that people will always go back and play.
