Why do people still own/play PS2 when the "next-gen" systems

Because i bought NCAA 08 on PS2 for $5 today.

There are a ton of cheap good games available on it, and if you own just a standard tv the graphics are still pretty good in most games.

probably because some people don't play games that much and would rather spend money on 2 laptops/notebooks.

I have a 360 but I am thinking about hooking up my PS2 to finish FF 12.

Haha it's games like FF12 that have kept it a pretty low priority for me to upgrade to a next-gen system....

Getting a 360 was the hardest decision just for the fact that PS3 will have FF 13. In the end my two nephews having a 360 and Xbox Live was what was tipped it in the 360's favor.

Because gaming isn't all about graphics. There's great games on old systems too that people will always go back and play.
