Exactly. I've been living in BR all my life, and I've never heard of these places. The only place I used to avoid (at least after dark) was Eden Park. Cain and 38th Stree was the deadliest intersection in Baton Rouge and it had nothing to do with automobile accidents.

Unless I'm missing something, I think your map is a little off. The Country Club of LA is no where near I-110

Well folks, you be the judge.

BTR Homicide Map for 2007

I used to live in Hermitage Oaks off Gardere. Had to get out 15 years ago when some student housing near there went Section 8. Got real rough real fast. Lost $13,000 on the house sale because the property value went down so bad.

So basically anything north of Florida Blvd.

According to that map there was one close to the corner of Jefferson Hwy and Hoo Shoo Too. I surely dont remember that and I live right down the street from there.

I remember when that was a pretty nice middle class area. My uncle had a house behind that shopping center on Burbank. I think he lost his arse as well when the ghetto took over.

Now we know where the poor ghetto areas are. Where are the poor redneck areas? Which ones should I avoid?

I don't get much static anywhere (in Louisiana)....but I get love in the hoods in this state....b/c I write articles about playas and talk about them on the radio....

Oh, and b/c I straight-up handle racists & shite.....I make them move around like the laws on that road....

Ask about me.....
