You can also use the "male end" of the seatbelt like the lighter method if the vehicle is in motion

Use a friend's lighter, or the hole in a door frame it isn't very efficient though.

I usually only find myself bottle opener-less in hotels, in which case I use the bathroom counter or dresser. Not my counter, so IDGAF if it scratches.
