Claims that what the LSU QB situation needs is an injury (albeit minor) or a suspension to give one guy all the attention/reps? He claims they will both be underprepared at the beginning of the season if Miles keeps splitting their time with the offense.
Is this guy for real???? Who in their right mind calls for an injury?
I've seen this guy write some dumb shite before but this takes the cake.

I really don't think he's hoping for injury or suspension. Just using it as a point to give 1 guy a majority of reps to prepare them.

Did he even stop to think that Miles might be giving them BOTH the same amount of reps with the first team? It would mean more reps of course. But, so what ?????

I don't know bout an injury but Les definitely needs to pick a starter and give him the majority of snaps with the first team.

in spring and fall camp, splitting reps isn't that big of a deal, they want all players to get as many reps as possible. Two weeks before the first game they'll solidify the depth chart and 1 guys will get the primary reps.

As much as I don't like Guilbeau, he predicted LSU would win the National Championship in 2011 (one game off) and has predicted we would struggle when we did. He is horrible, but he is not usually wrong.

Yes, lets eliminate a competition between two players that haven't proven themselves yet, 4 months before the season.
This argument contradicts the very essence of why spring practice is conducted. So we want to just pick a guy, because we need at least one guy that is not under prepared...What if we pick the wrong guy, how severely under prepared is the #2 guy now?

As much as I dislike GG he is correct.
Further the decision to go with one guy should have been last season at least during the season.
