If we have to count on him this year we are in some deep shite. Kid will be lost playing SEC competition. Hope he devolps and comes to play in a couple of years.

That was maybe the best pass of the day. He absolutely drilled that pass to the TE perfectly on a skinny post pattern in stride. That is a very difficult pass to hit that perfectly. He made the catch of the TE routine.

His TD Pass would down the middle rivaled anything we saw last year, but it's just spring football.
Some thought he was offered as part of a package deal but if you watch his HS film, he's quick, he's decisive and accurate on the move. He's legit, and will provide LSU something it's lacked, depth.

I'm not gonna get ahead of myself, but I'm excited about him. No reason he can't compete for the job if he's a smart guy who develops the in-game IQ to match his physical abilities, which will take time, of course.

Or maybe the other 4/5star qbs we have on scholarship were rated too high?? Plus that was a pass to a TE. Doesn't count since we will never see it in a game situation.
Honestly though he has a great arm, and all the skill to play at an SEC level, but coming here was possibly the worst mistake he could have made. Les gets tunnel vision when it comes to qbs and picks his favorite for better or for worse.
